On Keith Olbermann tonight…
ok, so i don’t typically watch his show, but while flipping through i overheard him talking about translators in the military:
over 300 gay military translators have been discharged from the armed forces (sorry i don’t know if it was specific to the army/marines/etc)
the armed forces are having a hard time finding translators (specifically for arabic countries)
the army is now offering up to a $150,000 signing bonus for newly hired arabic translators
god, seems like we could have saved some $$ had our country not been so homophobic and stuck with the already enlisted gay translators.
