Day 1 (Friday 10/31): spent most of the day hung over after margaritas with the rest of the crew who was laid off.  I was rather pissy that I was hungover, but since there was no pressing issues to take care of and no real reason to get out of bed, most of it was spent sleeping away.  Applied for 1 job.

Day 2 (Monday 11/03): Got back to working out and hopefully going to stick to my schedule.  Hung out with OTiller & crew to watch the MNF game and then had drinks with some recruiters (sadly they’re not hiring Associate Producers, but that’s OK, I didn’t really want to have to commute anyways). Applied for 1 job (total: 2).

Day 3: (Tuesday 11/04): Voted, if you haven’t yet, GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!!!!!!!  Seriously, and if you’re in California NO on 8.  Went to the AT&T store and purchased the new Blackberry Bold and subsequently listed my Blackberry Curve on Craiglist.  I walked home (it was a completely awesome morning) and I only almost fell once.  Seriously, there was a car coming and I looked to cross the street and totally tripped, I hope they laughed as much as I did when they saw me. Applied for 0 jobs (total: 2).  Amount mother has called me asking if I have a job yet: 5.

Quick update:

• My computer is now set up in the office at the house, which means I can finally update this more frequently.
• I was just laid off from EA (on Thursday October 30, 2008 at roughly 10:15 a.m.) so I have ALL the time in the world to update this.
• I’m getting a few new hats this week and still look forward to finding more that I want, so look for new hat updates as well!
• I’m going to be job hunting over the course of the next few weeks, so look for daily posts about new and exciting findings.

Ok, this has been around these so called internets for quite sometime, but it never fails, this is truly EPIC.

someone on friday asked me if i loved my newly purchased iphone?

no, frankly, i don’t. i’m cheating on my blackberry with a hot new 3g iphone…i just want the upgraded blackberry (that one they’re calling the bold), really, that will make me go back, which is all i’m asking for. the battery life on this fancy iphone blows, seriously, not even one day (and that’s with wifi & bluetooth turned off and not that much usage). how can i successfully cheat on my blackberry when the freaking iphone won’t even stay charged for me to get a full day’s worth of use out of it?! i mean come on.

i want a 3g phone, one that comes with decent battery life (one day is not that much to ask for) a real keyboard and one that has a blackberry logo on it…come on RIM why are you holding up the release?
